Question 1

What does it cost to sell on YardBS?

Accepted Answer

Sellers pay one flat listing fee by lot size: $14.99 for lots $50–$500, $19.99 for $500–$2,000, $29.99 for $2,000–$5,000, and 4% of the asking price for lots $5,000 and up (Premium, includes a 7-day homepage feature). YardBS takes zero commission on the sale, and buyers pay YardBS nothing.

Question 2

How does selling a whole pile work?

Accepted Answer

Photograph the pile once and list everything as a single lot at one price. A local buyer reserves it, gets a 6-character handoff code, picks the whole lot up in one trip and pays you in person.

Question 3

When does the buyer get my address?

Accepted Answer

Only after they reserve the lot. Listings show the ZIP code only, and YardBS chat blocks addresses, phone numbers and emails until a lot is reserved.

Question 4

What is the minimum lot price?

Accepted Answer

Lots start at $50 for the whole pile. Lots $5,000 and up list automatically as Premium: 4% of the asking price, with a 7-day homepage feature included.

Question 5

How long does a listing stay live?

Accepted Answer

Listings stay live for 180 days. Sellers can freeze a listing anytime. The clock stops while it is frozen, with 90 freeze days included per listing. When the 180 days run out the lot pauses (never deletes itself) and renews free in one tap.

Question 6

Do you guarantee my lot will sell?

Accepted Answer

YardBS is a listing platform, not a buyer. We give your lot its best shot: an AI-crafted listing in front of real local buyers. But no marketplace on earth can guarantee a sale. What we do: AI-drafted titles, descriptions and price guidance, visibility to real buyers in your zip, and renewals that keep your lot in front of fresh buyers. Listing fees are final even if a lot doesn't sell.
